The Arizona Statistics Consulting Laboratory (StatLab) partners with scientists, physicians, and businesses to advance discovery and understanding. We provide statistical expertise, personnel and computing resources to

• Facilitate study design and conduct, data acquisition protocols, data analysis, and the preparation of grants and manuscripts
• Adapt and develop new statistical methods to address emerging problems in science and medicine.
• Raise the level of statistical practice through seminars, workshops, and short courses.
• Foster discovery translation and economic development by consulting with public and private organizations external to the University of Arizona.

The University of Arizona Statistics Consulting Laboratory seeks an experienced statisticians to fill two positions at the interface of statistics and bioinformatics. Successful applicants will collaborate with researchers to further The University of Arizona research mission, as well as enhance the BIO5's objectives to bring together faculty and researchers from numerous discioplines to tackle complex biology-based problems affecting humanity today.

Minimum qualifications include M.S. in Statistics or Biostatistics, and facility with statistics and bioinformatics computing.
